Applebee's Grill + Bar

We shared the two for $25 and it was delicious. I had the 6oz sirloin and I usually don't like steak at restaurants that don't specialize in steak but this was good. And, my husband had the bourbon chicken and shrimp, yummy!

Jamie (usually working the bar area) is the greatest. She is our go-to server in Gainesville. She is very friendly while also being efficient and professional at her job. We enjoy the restaurant as a whole and have always found the place to be clean, food quality and flavor to be good and customer service to be very good. All employees have been wonderful and friendly, but if you ever get the pleasure of having Jamie as your server, you will know why we enjoy this restaurant.

I've stopped by this establishment for the past 3 Tuesdays before the start of my girls summer basketball games. The staff is pretty quick in getting you seated and the waiters likewise with getting your meal to you. It's located right off of I-75 and SR 26 which makes it convenient for travelers. (There's also a Marriott Hotel right behind the restaurant. I had on two occasions, the Oriental Shrimp Salad and today the glazed Salmon, all of which were reasonably priced and tasty. Will probably continue frequenting Applebee's for as long as the summer basketball league is running.

A top notch Applebee's location. The were able to sit 8 of us without any problem. One waitress took care of the whole table as if we had two. Drinks came out quick - food cam out quick. Everything was good - food was correctly cooked and no one had to ask for anything from the waitress besides more drinks.

Our waitress was friendly and funny and took care of us as best as any waitress I've ever had.

Nice place to come to have some drinks or meet up with friends (which is what we did).

Not a bad place to enjoy a good meal. Good for singles and couples. It has a bar and a compliment of TV's for you to keep up with sports or whatever. This is a good place for people who count calories as well. The service is good and the atmosphere is mellow. It's also open til 2am.
