Hot Birdie's Chicken

Small place that opened recently and has a really good chicken sandwich! It was hot, not overly spicy but a great flavor. The chicken was moist with a thin crispy coating, it had a coupleof pieces of pickle on it and tall, I had to smash it to eat it! I also had the waffle fries, they had a flavoring sprinkled on them and were hot, too. They have a few popular beers on tap and a few from the local breweries in cans. The place seats around 25, I guess; it's right on Archer Road and fairly easy to get in and out of. If they're trying to compete with the big chain chicken and pickle place- they win!

This place opened somewhat recently and I really like it. I got the Korean bbq sandwich which is pictured here. The sandwich was huge; it had so many toppings. It was a bit soggy from all the toppings but I didn’t mind.
My dad got the bacon ranch sandwich which he also really enjoyed and had a lot of toppings.
I tried their fries which were good. They also had a lot of different kinds of sauces. I got the spicy mayo and it was really good; the sauce package was also huge I had more than enough sauce.
I also saw that they have huge cookies and some shakes that are really good.
It is small inside but clean. The workers were really nice and they assisted me in deciding which sandwich to get. It took about 5-10 mins for my food to be ready.
Overall I would definitely recommend this place and I will be returning.

My daughter and I found this simply by accident. She has her orthodontist appointments in Gainesville once a month and we always eat out for lunch on these trips. We originally went to Whole Foods for their hot food bar but unfortunately everything was temporarily closed as their freezer was down due to a storm that blew the motor.. So we did a quick search and found this, didn’t even have to drive out the parking lot!

Let me tell you this place didn’t disappoint either! Each of us got a meal and shared the Mac & Cheese, that we couldn’t finish. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich and she got the tenders, and with homemade BBQ sauce. The chicken was so juicy and tender, the batter was seasoned well and crispy cooked to perfection, our fries also welled seasoned and delicious, and the Mac & Cheese was 🔥! The only thing I would say and this was very minor was for me Mac & Cheese was a tiny salty, and that is just because I’m not one who puts a lot of salt on their food. So it’s just a personal preference. But we will be coming back and making this our go to for lunch! This place is a stoners paradise for sure! Oh and them cookies slap!

Atmosphere was pretty good and the young lady who took our order was very nice. The four stars was because it was freezing in the building and their chairs kinda hurt getting off of. I got them thighs and chairs like that tend to hurt them but even my tiny daughter said it hurt her thighs getting up too.
