Metro Diner

Very helpful and knowledgeable server. You can get the full menu after 3pm, just ask for it so you don't miss out on an amazing breakfast for dinner. Fried chicken is super crispy on the outside and super moist inside. And if you're an east coaster, you can get the FL Yuengling version.

Great bang for the buck! I had their shrimp and grits - different and delicious. Husband had fish and chips - ample serving with good French fries and target sauce. Really comfortable place.

We were stopping through town and this diner was recommended by a local. It was easy to find off the main thoroughfare. We were seated immediately in a booth as the diner was not crowded at 4pm. We ordered the fried chicken platter and took a chance on the grilled salmon platter. The fried chicken was very good, and the salmon was outstanding....quite a surprise in this low key setting, so I sent kudos to the chef. The red skinned mashed potatoes were not super warm and tasted as if they had been around for some time, so we left them on the plates. Our Server was very good and we appreciated her recommendations!

I work for a non profit and researched for a good price for our Board's holiday luncheon. I found the family feast for $119.00 that served 10, ($12 a person) perfect. However, when I picked up the food, I was charged an additional $20.00. When I asked DJ, the managing partner about the additional cost, he said that he needed to correct the website that should have said serves 8. $14 a person, not $12 as stated. I could have looked elsewhere to stay in my price range.. He did not offer to honor the website price. As of today, the price has not been corrected. Also to add insult to injury we were shorted the 10 biscuits that were included. On a side note: the food was really good.

We have tried to go to metro diner a few times because we heard that the food was so good but the times we tried to go it was super busy. We finally got a chance to go and it really reminded me of a diner you would find in New York City. We have 4 kids so sometimes it’s hard to find a place where we can all agree with a place that makes everyone happy, my kids loved metro diner. They loved the food the atmosphere the music playing in the background, they loved it, all we heard while we were eating what they were going to try next we came. The food is so good, and the atmosphere is awesome, we can’t wait to go back again
