Chic bistro with a focus on wines. They have a great atmosphere for groups to hang out or for a cute date night. It's casual; counter-service and you take a number to your table where the server will bring out food.
Food: They had a beef stew one night, and it was the best beef stew I've ever had. Charcuterie and other food options have always been stellar.
On Thursdays they have $15 flight of 4 wines.
We came from Jax before a show at Heartwood Soundstage, and it would have been worth the drive just for the food. Outstanding, and pretty awesome happy hour drink deals. And the outdoor courtyard seating is huge and beautifully decorated. We will certainly be back.
One of my fav places in GNV! I love the chill atmosphere, their food and drinks. The patio is beautiful and the food is delicious. Small plates with vegetarian options
superette is one of Gainesville’s hidden gems. It has the romantic vibe that is perfect for a date night. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere and a large outdoor patio that is perfect for enjoying some wine al fresco. They have an extensive and very nice wine selection but we celebrated with some champagne. No full table service. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great choice for an intimate dinner and a special place to celebrate a special occasion with a group of girlfriends or going on your first date.
What a delicious and delightful lunch. The Mediterranean Board with tomato soup. Amazing 🤩! The rich flavors will excite your palate. The spice cake was a wonderful way to provide a little sweet to the assortment of flavors on the board. The cheese and vegetables and bread are perfect. Don’t forget to try the hand held mushroom like an empanada (sorry) can’t remember the name. The owners are a really sweet bunch of ladies. So pleasant and thoughtful. I can’t wait to come back and have a bottle of wine and another board. 😉
