Tup Tim Thai Restaurant and Sushi Bar

This was a near 3 star rating but my tip Tim duck was really good so I went ahead with 4 stars. Our experience wasn’t the best for several reasons. The music was weird for a Thai restaurant (country and hip hop), the service was painfully slow, they bring food out randomly rather than together, the server didn’t know their drink menu at all, and the restaurant itself had no ambiance. But!… the food was decent. High priced, but authentic and pretty good. All said, I probably won’t return because there are better Thai restaurants close enough.

Love this place! If you want sushi, this is the place. Better than anything else in Gainesville and honestly think they have the freshest sushi in town. Shout out to the Pad Thai and Thai Iced Tea. Both also delicious. Owner is nice and friendly and staff well accommodating. You won't be disappointed

Overall, the restaurant is under staffed. I have done both eaten there in person and ordered online. The food is without a doubt delicious and probably one of the best in Gainesville. However, we ordered online from them and the food took over an hour AFTER its scheduled arrival time to come. For example, it was ordered at 6:45pm, was suppose to be delivered by 7:45pm, didn't arrive till 9pm. The poor driver from the company sat there waiting for over an hour for them to finally hand my order. When eating at the actual restaurant you will see them scrambling around trying to keep up with the tables. They have one poor lady there that is running between all the tables, she is very nice but its overwhelming for one person to cater to so many customers at once. But food is pretty good!
