“I was going to give Copper Monkey 4 stars, but bumped them up to 5 on behalf of the french fries. They were so good and crispy! The service was friendly and attentive. We did have to wait a little bit longer than expected for our food, but we did show up in the middle of the lunch rush. Broccoli in my mind mom's pasta dish was a little undercooked. My Reuban was delicious.”

“Food and service was excellent. The brisket was the tenderest I have had any where you could actually cut it with a fork. Both my husband and I had it with different sides of course. He had fries and slaw, I had collards and Mac and cheese with corn bread and sweet tea. It was all good. The only reason I am giving a four is the corn bread was sweet and there was no option of garlic bread instead. I being a true Florida girl have never understood putting sugar in corn bread or not having garlic bread with bar-b-que. The price were reasonable for the amount of food. Location wasn't far to go. I would go back. Brisket was amazing.”

“Very cute place. We have been coming weekly since they’ve opened. The people who own it are very nice and friendly. At first the food and service was amazing but as time goes on, I see a decline in both. Today, I ordered the chicken bowl and it actually had brown bag paper in it.. I know things happen so it’s not the end of the world but they need to be careful about what is going in to the food. I think they are just not used to the volume of customers and I know that can be overwhelming so I hope they get all the kinks worked out soon because again, I know they are capable of offering a awesome place to eat. I wish them all the best of luck and success in the coming years! We’ll definitely give it another try for these positive reasons.”
