San Marcos Mexican Grill Pier Park

The food is ok but nothing like home back in El Paso, Tx sure do miss home cooking , I miss Mexican food , the salsa here was again for the locals just plain tomato sauce not spicy at all chips were still greasy. I had what was supposed to be the chili Colorado but no where close to that mainly just onions, the rice and beans were good ,My table had other things like carnitas , they were ok also could be a little better , flautas we’re actually good and so was the burrito California. Restaurant was very clean and well done , service was great , was a good value for the money.

the best Mexican restaurant. the people are very nice people. the bathrooms are clean to. go check them out today. GRAND OPENING!!. the TacoLoco is huge but it so freaking good. all the food is good. do t forget about your beer and mixed drinks.

The food was flavorful and aesthetically pleasing. The atmosphere was classy and festive. It was very clean and well cared for. The best part of experience was how remarkably friendly and welcoming the staff was-from the greeter to our waiter (Rogers) to the cook staff that brought out our food-every staff encounter was pleasant. We observed them interacting with other guests as well and they just seem to be one of the most hospitable restaurants we've visited. They are located in the shopping area near Target at Pier Park. Handicap parking is easily assessable.

Have been twice. Service was good. Food was fast and tasted great. Definitely better food that the Los Rancheros on the beach. The chips and salsa are sooo good! The chips are warm and very fresh. The Orchata (rice milk) is amazing and it’s free refills just like the other fountain drinks. It’s nothing super special or unique BUT it’s great food great service and just what we like!

We were headed to another restaurant but saw a new Mexican place and decided...MEXICAN..LOL.
I ordered the Chilli Renello and my spouse had the Chicken Nacho Supreme.
Let me tell you. I judge a new Mexican Restaurant by their Chilie Relleno and these were like eating heaven!! They were that good.
