Thoroughly Enjoyed our dining experience with Freddie, Lauren and Lidia. Freddie the general manager took personal care of us, was personable and entertaining. Lauren was busy managing every job except cooking it seemed. Bar tending, hosting and checking on tables. Lidia was our server and she was attentive as she could be considering how busy they were. Would definitely return to eat here again. Besides the comfortable welcoming staff the food was delicious. Fried shrimp and the funnel cake fries were amazing!
Jamie Lee was a wonderful server. Not once did we have to ask for our drinks to be topped off. I had the seafood basket. I especially liked the oysters. I don’t usually eat cocktail sauce but my sister-in-law commented how good it was so I tried it. I ate it all. I will be here again.
We stopped here this year on our way out of town today for a last shrimp meal before hitting the road. This place did not disappoint - I had the Shrimp basket with a house salad. The salad was GREAT, had a wonderful sweet surprise of dried cranberries, which I love! The shrimp was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing! Found a tiny corn fritter surprise in my basket - that I would order on its own in the future! Hubby had combo basket of shrimp and flounder and he really enjoyed it! Jamie Lee was our server, super friendly and made great suggestions on the menu as well developed great rapport with us in a short period of time. We will definitely put this on our list of go to restaurants for future visits to PCB!
Our waitress Tina made us feel like we were eating lunch at her own home. Friendly, easy going, and the food was great. Never had to ask for drink refills or anything. We had the shrimp basket and the catfish basket. The key lime pie is good, too. Will be bringing other family members to eat at Shrimp Basket soon. We will be asking to be seated at Tina's section.
Look, if you're looking for a place that you're looking out at the beach and paying double, then it's not for you. If you're looking for great fresh food, big juicy oysters on the half shell, grilled blacked shrimp and Seafood gumbo at a place that will not the break bank. Then look no further. Amazing all around. Ask for Cody's section, he'll take care of you. I spent 20 years in the restaurant business. It would have been an honor to have him in any one of them.
