The Juicy Seafood

i wish i could give more than 5 star. i ordered party of 2. it was plenty of seafood boil with big portion and worth the price. Great service and they have nice decoration inside. will recommend and come back again.

First off, the food actually is good. At least, what we had was good. I can't speak for the entire menu but the fried baskets with onion rings were better than most restaurants around PCB. They came out hot and crispy so you know it was fried on demand after the order was placed which is how all seafood should be prepared. A lot of places around the beach cook the food ahead of time and keep it warm which leads to a mushy consistency with seafood. Not here. They get an A+ by me for that.

Their larger issue is that is has a morgue like atmosphere inside. There just isn't enough business going to them. You may see 5 or 6 cars max out front during lunch and that's on a busy day. We were one of 2 or 3 tables during our entire meal. We had an entire wing of the restaurant to ourselves in fact. I don't know how their dinner business does, but there is no way they can survive on their lunch crowd.

Service also isn't great. When we were sat, the hostess didn't tell us about the lunch menu that is attached to the napkin holder on the table. The server (who took longer than normal to arrive to take our order) also didn't inform us about a lunch menu.

The bottom line is that the food isn't bad, but the atmosphere/service isn't anything to write home about.

I've been here twice and both times the food was amazing. I had the snow crabs and blue crabs. I recommend getting the snow crabs if you prefer to get whole big pieces of meat out of the shell. There is not too much meat in the blue crab and it is much messier than the snow crab. The waiters we're very helpful and we're always checking on how I was doing. Overall great restaurant. Amazing food, clean inside, nice interior, lots of parking space.

I was worried because some reviews are pretty negative, BUT I AM SO HAPPY WE TRIED!!!! The food was phenomenal! Some of the best seafood I have had in a LONG time. Granted, I'm from Indiana, but it was just delicious!!! We ate at Joe's Crab Shack a few days ago and we were extremely disappointed, so I am thrilled that this was as good as it was. I WILL say that 2 other people in our party didn't get exactly what they ordered, but we did 😆 so no complaints here!

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. We will definitely be back! Buddy and Nova are the best waiters/waitresses you could ask for. They are very pleasant and professional. They went above and beyond to make our visit a great experience. If you're ever here, ask for one them. The food was so good, we came a second time during our trip. You won't be disappointed!
