Alice's on Bayview

Alice’s is one of our favorite places. We enjoy visiting at least once a week. We love listening to music on Thursday nights and brunch on the weekends. Week after week, the food is consistently outstanding. Alice makes everyone feel welcomed and she goes the extra mile to provide a super dining experience.

For a busy Sunday brunch day, even in the middle of winter, our food came really quick! Our waitress was very pleasant and the live music was so great! It was a very classy place even though the looks on the outside wouldn't let on to that. If you see this place and think you don't want to try it because of the looks outside, just try it! It was very classy and the food was great!

Food and service were excellent!

We arrived early and let us sit inside out of the rain and cold even though they weren't technically open. The server was very attentive (but not hovering) during our visit. Entrees range from 12 to 26 dollars, not counting anything sold at market price, but the flavor is worth it.

What an incredible little restaurant. Inviting atmosphere and the staff made us feel welcome from the time we stepped in the front door. Live music was playing while we were there and it just helped to the experience. The server was attentive, patient (but not in the annoying way that some servers can fake), and was great and guiding the dining experience. We weren't too hungry so we only had apps, soup and salad, and dessert; but the rest of the menu looked wonderful. It was hard to stay focused on how hungry we were and not over order. Food was absolutely wonderful. Everything was plated very well, and we couldn't wait to take our first bites. Fresh oysters, thick and rich she-crab soup, crispy and saucy siracha-honey shrimp, and a nicely balanced wedge salad were everything that we were looking for; with some great key-lime pie to round out the night. We could tell by the other guests that this place is a regular spot for the locals. The bar was busy with people intermingling, and guests would walk between tables to say hey to one another. It is definitely a place that I would visit regularly if we lived in the area.

Excellent service and great food. The hamburger buns are toasted to perfection and always ask for "extra crispy" fries. You will thank me later. Their ranch is home made and their she crab soup is thick and creamy for the soul. Have been there a few time with a variety of people and everyone has loved it. Always some live soft music in the corner and a gorgeous back patio.
