Big Chicken

I love a good spicy chicken meal so my husband and I decided to give BIG Chicken a shot on a Tuesday evening. When we came in the couple in front of us was clearly agitated and after a few minutes of waiting they stated "to hell with this, let's go. Waited ten minutes and no one has even said hello."

We waited about 6 or 7 minutes and then the young lady working the drive through came over - she was quiet but pleasant. Clearly they need to get her some help though, because she was running both sides alone.

We ordered two Nashville hot sandwiches (one with the make it hotter option) a Shaq sandwich, coleslaw, fries, and a sundae. We ordered to go so we sat at a table while waiting- which.. was greasy. The floor could use a good scrub to get some reside off of it. But otherwise the interior is nice.

Three workers came in while we were waiting and leaned on the counter for a few minutes, then left again. Maybe that was why she was short staffed.

Our order took about 10 minutes and my sundae came last. A bit melted already but I still enjoyed it.

The Shaq sandwich was OK, not amazing though the chicken quality itself was excellent. The fries and the Big Chicken sauce were great. My husband said the coleslaw was disgusting and bitter - he tossed it. The shining star was the Nashville sandwich. They were SO good. Hotter is NOT messing around; I really enjoy spicy food and it was indeed very spicy. The cook was perfect, the chicken was fresh and not too thick or thin. Battered just right.

They have some bugs to work out with their service but I am looking forward to having that Nashville sandwich again and maybe trying some of their other chicken options.

The food was delicious. The breading on the chicken had just the right amount of spice! I got chicken sandwich with mac n cheese! It was 🔥 especially with those crispy onions on top! My hubby ❤️ his ultimate chicken sandwich! The service was friendly and fast! 😋 🐥 🍗 The kiddos enjoyed thier meal too!

I really liked the ultimate chicken sandwich which had mac and cheese on it. I thought it would be messy but it really wasn't. The crinkle cut fries are really good. They have Pepsi products and Pepsi Max but not diet Pepsi. They have the sauces on the counter so you can try different sauces with your tenders. And the staff is really friendly. We didn't have a wait on a Monday night, our food came out pretty quickly as well. I do miss slims but big chicken is pretty okay.

I ordered the 3 piece chicken tenders meal. Both my chicken and fries were cooked to order and were delivered to my table hot. They have a selection of sauces near the drink station that allows you to grab as much as you like. The food tasted good, the store was clean and the customer service was good.

I don’t typically eat fast food, but I wanted to make it a point to leave a review for my experience at the new Big Chicken location in Panama City. I spontaneously decided to go through the drive thru to grab a quick meal. I ordered Uncle Jerome’s Nashville hot chicken sandwich combo. The line was backed up and it actually took me about 30-40 minutes. I could have left, but I didn’t. I knew that this establishment is brand new so they’re working out some kinks and trying to figure out their flow. If you have the time, patience pays off because oh my gosh, this was the greatest fast food chicken sandwich I have ever had!!! Even the fries were so delicious!!! They reminded me of a homemade chicken sandwich and fries. Just really great quality ingredients and flavor. The people who work there were also so nice and apologetic about the wait. I’ll definitely be back. Can’t wait to try everything else on the menu.
