Gene's Oyster Bar

I'm new in town, and have been looking for just this kind of place.

Dozen oysters to start, then fried grouper shrimp lunch combo. What could be better.

WOW! What a little gem. Had lunch here and practically ordered everything. Oysters, gumbo,
sautéed crab claws. The gumbo is homemade and chocked full of shrimp, andouille and okra. Yummy. The crab claws are served in a mix of Parmesan cheese, butter and garlic. 😋 It’s small and family owned for over 50 years. Go by and see miss Ann and enjoy and delicious meal!! Great customer service.

Gene's is locally owned and the owner is a very gracious lady who loves her customers. The service is good, the food even better with low prices plus more than you can eat... outside dining... everyone should go there...

I have been eating at Gene's Oyster Bar for many years. I love the oysters, and that little glass bottles of Coke are available if you want one. The people are awesome, friendly, and efficient. It is one of the few places where you can order a bowl of Oyster Stew. They have delicious 😋 and yummy fried seafood, too. I try to go there as often as possible. You should try them if you want some good food!
They have added an outdoor dining area if you prefer eating outside. Thanks for the memories.

I really enjoyed the food here. Very informal small and comfortable restaurant. The people were nice. I loved the baked oysters and the sautéed crab claws. I also liked the fried grouper. Please go here when you're in Panama City Florida. It's better than most of the Beach front Restaurants.
