Had a League of Cities dinner event in the pavilion area. The food was very good. The service was attentive. Well appointed appetizers of cheese, crackers, and cut fruit. They had a bar set up with two bartenders. Main course was a good salad, BBQ pulled pork, a fried grit cake, and a shrimp something or other in a red sauce (I know I'm not doing that description justice, but it was very tasty). Desert were several a sheet-pans of home made cinnamon buns that fell apart. What a nice surprise for how remote the location is. Best part was that we got to see a practically full moon rise out of the trees while we ate desert.
Remarkable food! I absolutely love the southern variety and charm of this restaurant. It is a perfect place for a meal at any time of the day! If there is a wait for a table, they have a variety of outdoor yard games and they host many fun events, including bands and fundraisers. Don't forget to ring the cowbell on your way out to hollar to the cooks in the back for a great meal!
Really good burger and gator tail! My daughter got the blue berry pancakes and ham and she loved it! I'll be going back there more often!
Food was delicious. All you need to know is that the biscuits are made not cooked. Cracked omelet was amazing and the shrimp were very good. Service was excellent.
This is a great out of the way restaurants that is very popular with the locals. They a country style menu. Everything is fresh. I had a grilled shrimp salad and and it was one of the best I've had. Looked like everything was fresh out of the garden. They also sell T-shirts and tricets.
