Great off the beaten path. The service, food and prices were great. Wish they had liquor license. Go out of your way to eat here. We had the Juanita Platter.
Tacos aren't bad.there not like the street vendors authentic ones with the little corn tortillas and Mexican cooked chicken and steak but to be fair , thats all ive tried there.Salsa is good for a mild one.chips are good.they need cilantro for there tacos also.people are always very nice and attentive.
If you're looking for good local food, this is it!! Everything is fresh and local. Great week day specials too! DO NOT CONFUSE LA CANTINA WITH LA CAN-TRINA! They are a chain restaurant.
This place gets four stars on the dive bar scale. La cantina as seating indoors and out and a polite and courteous waitstaff. The patrons were friendly and there were no bar fights while we were there.
Don't be put off from the looks from the outside it doesn't change much to on the inside.
Located in a part of Cape Canaveral that is reminiscent of old Mexico, this place gave me expectations of authentic Mexican food. The flavors were good, but the food did not taste authentic to me. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it while I watched sports on a 40-year-old tv. It's probably called a Mexican restaurant because you feel like you're in Mexico 50 years ago, not because of the food.
