Archie's Bar & Grill

Archie's is a tucked away, compact spot where everything is fried, and everything is delicious. Adorable British-themed decor, like a wall mural of the restaurant owners' European travels, bathroom doors with red call boxes painted on them, a spacious warm wood bar, and patio seating with vines climbing up the railing, all pack a lot into a tight space. They are SUPER canine friendly; feel free to bring your fur babies when you go to lunch at this hotspot! Haddock, Cod, Scotch Eggs (found mainly in northern states) reign, and burgers Shepard's Pie, and sweet desserts entice. Bring your friends, family and canine companions on down and fill up on fun and fancy with a great vibe that you could be, just across the pond...

This is a nice place. Small restaurant connected to a Dunkin. My partner absolutely loved the Shepard’s pie. The fish and chips was really good as well!
The service was decent. We are not huge drinkers, but it looked like there were a lot of options at the bar!

BEST FISH & CHIPS IN TOWN!!! And they have London's Pride on tap. Everything else from the kitchen and behind the bar is great, too. If the Murphy's burger ever showed up on the specials board, get it. Dog friendly patio. One of my favorite local spots.

Nice variety of beers on tap. Lots of menu choices. We both had the fish and chips. Great presentation. Tartare sauce and coleslaw elevated, steak fries and a huge piece of crispy battered haddock. I slather it with malt vinegar and some salt. Absolutely delicious. Tried the fruit samosa with cream cheese which my daughter loved, and i lived the Toffee Pudding. Large size portions. We came home for a nap after!!

Came to Melbourne for some great beer, fish and chips and I wasn't disappointed. Archie's bar and grill has some of the best haddock I've ever had. So incredibly fresh. The ambience is of an British pub. The bartender Chris and the waitstaff are so nice and attentive. I would definitely recommend coming here.
