Lizettes Cajun bistro

I'm from Louisiana and have had food throughout the entire state. I say this to portray the authenticity of Lizettes food. Absolutely delicious and 100% Cajun. Would highly recommend to friends and family. Wish I had taken pictures of the gumbo but it was gone within seconds of reaching the table.

DELICIOUS!! Quick weekend in the area, asked google for Cajun and man did they deliver. Asked chef what was one of his favorite things more people would try. "Shrimp & Grits" he replied. Boy, was he right. Several of my taste buds woke up from eating so much regular, bland foods. I don't even eat grits, but I tore this up like it was my last meal. Do you and your taste buds a favor and treat yourself to Lizette's. You both deserve it

We had our first meal there today, and definitely will be going back! Everything we had was excellent, and freshly prepared. The Oreo cheesecake was phenomenal. Nice, homey environment with friendly staff. A little hard to find so just look for the "Pancake House". It's right next door. Reasonably priced as well.

We've gone there quite a few times and each visit our dinners have been excellent. Some dishes are spicy, some are not. There is something for everyone.

Between the two of us we had the Cajun Chicken Risotto, shrimp scampi, gumbo and meat pie and every single bite was delicious. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. The gumbo was cooked to order and tasted like it! Very fresh and tasty. The service was amazing, literally a great experience all around. I forgot to take pictures because I was to busy eating.
