Took the family out on a Friday night and the place wasn't slammed, we were seated right away. Staff was very friendly. Waiter was also polite and well spoken.
Food was perfectly cooked and tasted great.
Rare enough, the kids actually ate all their food this time.
We will be making this a part of the regular restaurant rotation.
Outback is always our "go-to" food destination when we have a little more time and money to spend. The TV sets and the bar aren't big distraction s if you sit in the right spot, and the servers dote on you like they would their own kids or grandparents. Good training, I guess!
The advertised sirloin was tender and delicious, as expected. Trudy was our server, delightful, attentive and pleasant. The price was awesome. Outback never disappoints, one of my favorites.
After 40 years of extensive domestic and international business travel I have eaten in a plethora of restaurants and I am not easily impressed, but I don't nit pick either. Any restaurant can have an off night. The Melbourne Outback has been our restaurant of choice every week for the last 3 years. The lounge is our seating choice and the ambiance of the whole restaurant is, in our mind, perfection. In those 3 years and over 150 visits we have had a fair few servers. Only one or two who were not excellent. So many of them are like friends and family to us and when one of our favorites leaves its is like saying goodbye to a dear friend. Our food is always perfection and even after all these many visits we still look forward to our weekly visit and in my case a perfect steak. I think I know steak. I was born and raised in the Omaha area and sirloin or a strip steak has been my meal of choice from Anchorage Alaska to Zachary, Greece.
'Manager Melissa Swist' is just the best. Just one of the many reasons we return every week and most holidays.
This was a better experience than last year. Food was good, 6oz steak with lobster tail and loaded backed potato x3. One lobster tail under done. Service a bit slow... but overall satisfied. We would and will still go back.
