Panera Bread

The service is usually okay, but the quality of food is inconsistent and the portions are small. Some days it is a good experience, other times the bread is stale and the food is disgusting

The interesting thing about Paneras is that while the food in all the chain restaurants is equally good, if you purchase, say, the broccoli and cheese soup from a grocery store, the taste will not be the same. It will be far worse. It seems odd that they should do this. Stick with the restaurants. BTW. The posted caloric values on the menus are a joke. A recent publication stated that accounting for the calories depends on all types of factors and is nowhere near the values listed. Paneras is not alone in this dubious advertising, but they know it exists and play along anyway. Just eat the food and desserts and forget the calories. Drink water for the remainder of the day.

Very nice atmosphere at this location. Friendly staff. Food was prepared promptly and made to order. The only thing I don't like is the new menus that don't list everything that is in the sandwiches.

Love going to Panera Bread. Always have friendly service and very tasty food. Had the new ten vegetable soup and the new spinach salad. It was great!
