The Shack Seafood Restaurant

I was on my own and had lunch at the bar. I ordered the fish and chips. It was perfect. Like many, I'd driven by this location a thousand times and never stopped in. To my surprise it's quite nice with a deck and outdoor seating. The restaurant is built upon a bluff that overlooks the Indian River. The Shack offers full liquor and they have a small but well thought-out selection of wines.

This is one of those tried but true seafood restaurants along the intercoastal way that's always good and satisfying. The wait staff is professional and very courteous. The cocktails are excellent and the seafood is always delicious. The live music is always excellent and makes our dining time can I say romantic? ..... The atmosphere and decor is very cozy. Do you want a great appetizer start with scallops St.-Jacques. highly recommended.

We took my brother and his wife for dinner at The Shack and everyone was wonderful. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. My brother has Cioppino which he raved about. The Shrimp Scampi and The Captains Platter was also delicious, The servings were huge. We had a great evening.

Great food and Service! Would recommend! I had the fried Captain's Platter (haddock, shrimp, scallops and a crab cake). My wife had the Shrimp and Scallops Au Gratin. We also had the fried calamari appetizer. All dishes were above average and portions were quite large. Can't wait to go back!

I had the 1/2 roasted chicken with cherries, bananas, and mangoes with jasmine rice. It was excellent! I loved the original dish, enjoy trying something different. Hadn’t been here in a few years and love the new choices on the menu! Also now they have an outdoor patio overlooking the Indian River. Beautiful view and entertainment! Dessert was to die for chocolate mousse with peanut butter!
