Gold Lion Bar and deli

I have been multiple times(over 50times in 10years) - but since I am not a regular to Gold Lion they rarely recognize me.

Never had any food there so I can not comment on it. I am not much of a beer drinker, and that probably is a good thing because the choices are minimal. I mainly drink mixed drinks or shots. The bartenders are not mixologists but do an okay job.

The bartenders do fail at a good pour if they don't recognize you or your friends. They seem to compensate the regular crowd with your paid for alcohol. The bartenders have been rude and slow for service more to me than happy and eager to serve. I don't tip them well to even at all anymore because it doesn't affect the treatment of their customer.(I regularly tip waitresses, waiters, bartenders, mixologists, and cab 54 drivers starting at a standard of 25% for basic service. Bartenders loss.)

One thing that bothers me is why isn't karaoke done inside?

The food was good but small portions. The server was miffed because we won't leave a $10 tip on a$27 bill

A very happening place with delicious drink and bar food. Its a place to go with friends after work for a drink and two play pool. I love this place, I will definitely stay there again.

On our recent visit we had a nice time. The band inside was rocking out. The drinks were cheap and served swiftly. There was a nice outside area with plenty of seating to hang out and enjoy the music at a reduced volume. The facility is a bit rough around the edges, but what is not to like about a place like this?
