The Space Bar

We came here as a little date night to try out this cute local spot! Super nice view of the water and you can see the Space Center! Everything is nice and open, the drinks are SO creative (I would post a photo of mine but it was gone so quick!😂) and the service was awesome thanks to Becky and Katie! ♥️ Will definitely come back for dinner.

The Space bar is an upscale Rooftop restaurant/bar with a ‘out of this world’ vibe. It was so nice to lounge, and be able to enjoy the beautiful waterfront view overlooking the Space coast. The cocktails were creative and delicious. However, a solution to keep the draft beer cold would be great. The plastic cups get warm rather quickly. Food portions were generous, and everything tasted delicious! The menu pricing will weed out the unwanted, but this spot is hot. It will attract tourists, hotel guest happy, and keep the locals coming back! Thank you for a great experience.

The Space Bar is located on the top floor of the Marriott and over looks the Indian River. We visited in the evening around 9 (it was Saturday night and they are open until 12). Immediately upon entering the hotel there is a sign for The Space Bar and a small elevator that takes you directly to the roof. You then take the door to the outside and walk down a short hall way that opens to the bar. The cocktail menu was priced as expected for a hotel bar and my Causeway Cosmo was delicious. Our server Susan was pleasant, attentive and helpful with ordering and information about the hotel and bar, and local sights from the rooftop showing us a little map that they have pointing out the various space industries and buildings that can be seen from the balcony. We ordered the potato sausage flat bread and the nachos with black beans and braised short ribs. Both were presented very nicely, amply sized for sharing or as a meal, and delicious as well. The space has a great vibe at night with several areas for photo ops other than the scenery and night sky: there is a huge lighted canvas mural of a moon walk and couple of cozy egg chairs with a lighted cube table nestled in between and I can't forget the astronaut in the lobby. Definitely will visit again.

Fantastic! Amazing views which we are lucky to have a lot of here in Brevard County, but where they really stood out was the service & food. Excellent service by Michelle so thank you Michelle. We ordered the deviled eggs app. Very creamy deviled eggs with amazing smoked bacon. The eggs also came with a pile of super thin & crispy shoestring fries. We ate all of it. And now trust me when I say ORDER THE NACHOS! Best I’ve had in ages. I think they use shredded short ribs & then a creamy white cheese. It’s not your regular boring nachos. And they’ve cracked the code in proper nacho topping layering. You get just as many toppings at the bottom as you do the top. Like how come no one else can seem to do this? I’m dreaming about them this morning. Can’t wait to try more. If the quality & service remain as is, we’ll be here regularly.

Fabulous views. Attentive and friendly service. Saturday 630 pm, food and drinks came out quickly and both were wonderful! Ordered the "Intergalactic Planetary"... So refreshing, and attractive too. Also had the Space Coast Roll. Delicious sandwich served with perfectly crisp house made chips. Will be returning here a lot! What a wonderful and welcome addition to our community.
