Big Mike's Baking Company At Tunies

We stopped by Big Mike's on our way from Miami to Orlando and it was well worth the detour!! The owner was so kind and just as much a part of why we loved our experience as the food. The food on its own though would be enough for us to go back, some of the best gluten free food we have had. My omelet was huge and filled with so many delicious veggies, the waffles were the best gf waffles we have had, the chocolate chip cookies were just the right texture and were especially good warmed (my son's all time favorite cookie now), the zucchini bread is a huge loaf with great flavor/moist (freezes beautifully too). As the owner made our food, I could see him pulling good quality/fresh foods from the fridge (smoothies and breakfast foods). So glad we found this gem, it was enjoyed by all, those in my family with celiac and those without.

Hands down the best gluten free cupcakes and muffins I ever had. I have been gluten free for years and while traveling in Florida found Big Mike's bakery. I'm so glad I did. The cupcakes were literally the best cupcakes I ever had. My husband, who is not gluten free tried one and agreed that the cupcakes were outstanding . I highly recommend Big Mike's and will visit again the next time I'm in Florida

These are simply the best tasting gluten free desserts around. Cupcakes and cakes are moist, cookies taste like cookies. If you have tried other gluten free options around, you know how hard it is to find well balanced, good tasting stuff. Anybody with a gluten sensitivity can indulge without being shorted in the taste department. It's also nice to be able to support a local business. Mike is a good guy to boot, and the ladies that work there are friendly. Go visit and see. This place is a Win-Win!

I called for vegan cupcakes and can say my first time experience with the bakery was awesome. Mike came on the phone to assist with identifying an appropriate vegan option- ended up with chocolate cupcakes- one with white frosting and sprinkles, the other with white frosting drizzled with caramel. I’m told they have vanilla and red velvet vegan cupcakes as well. Cupcakes were delicious and surprisingly fairly moist compared to vegan baked goods at other places. Will be sure to visit again!
