This iconic restaurant is just a counter/bar that is front row to a kitchen. Charming, fun, sociable, and very, very delicious!! Watch the boil pots and deep fryers being tended and converse with the staff and locals. Hardly room to turn around, but so classy and fun. I ordered a pound of king crab legs and took my lazy time cracking and eating it all. $20 for the whole huge bowlful! Then my neighbor to the right was eating a smoked fish dip and it looked so good I ordered one to go. I wasn't disappointed! Can't wait to visit again and try the fried shrimp. Everything looks fantastic. Friendly, warm, fun... and always hopping.

I love this place! It hasn't changed in over a decade and its still the best for great food, cool people and quick service. The Saturday crab leg special is a great and the old bay shrimp are a must try. Do yourself a solid and stop in for a beer and a meal.

They offer a great variety of delicious food. I enjoyed dining here. Employees are always very nice, rates are affordable and the place is always clean.

Tark's is the ultimate local dive. Forget the pretentiousness of South Beach, these folks are real! The food is delicious and the staff friendly. You can always count on striking up a conversation with a fellow diner at the counter. The old bay shrimp and curly fries are to die for! Occasionally, it gets full and you have to shout your order over the crowd - but that's part of the atmosphere!
