Zabb Thai & Sushi

One of my favorite Thai/Japanese restaurants in Davie/Plantation/Ft.Lauderdale/Sunrise vicinity. The sushi chefs make very creative (and delicious) dishes. Tuna Taro Nachos, Kawahagi, and various sushi rolls are the favorites. Some in our party love the Thai RAW shrimp appetizer. Definitely an acquired taste which makes Zabb all the more special. Unique dishes to pique everyone's interest.

I've picked up lunch from here for my office twice now. Everything tastes great and is packed up very nicely. And the lunch specials are a great price for how much you get.

Qualifying this review with confession that I am not a big Thai food aficionado. I don't like hot-spicy food and I don't like cilantro. However, I eat Thai with friends, family or colleagues when they choose the restaurant. This was amazing. I had the Stir Fry Squid with Ginger sauce - spiced just right and a little sweet just as I like it. My son had Prawn Sunrise and all four at the table agreed that was the star of the night. We all enjoyed our food, but the large prawns with coconut curry sauce was just perfection!

The food was great. The place is nice and the server was a nice young lady. The one thing they can improve on is the amount of beef in the main dish but, even then it was probably enough. No real complaints. I wish I had taken photos of my food because it looked so good that I dug in immediately. I had sushi and Beef Pad Thai.

I usually go to another Thai restaurant but friends wanted to go here . Food was tasty and service was good. Ambience was a bit weird as a table of young folks was a bit rowdy but not to bad. Place is small but they take reservations which is a huge plus. All in all was very good . We love the chicken lettuce wraps here and the soups and stir fry dishes have also been delicious. The atmosphere is fine-great place to go for a quick lunch or dinner. Clean restaurant and attentive staff.
