Big City Tavern

AMAZING...AMAZING...AMAZING!! The food and wine was delicious! It's been a while since I've tasted a steak that good. Our server was nice and friendly. We didn't have to wait long before being seated. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed the ambience and it's location on Las Olas Boulevard but the biggest knock my girlfriend and I had that kept me from giving it five stars was that pretty much everything we ordered was at room temperature or slightly cold. We ordered a variety of appetizers that tasted good but would have been so much better if served hot. It was almost like they had sat for five or ten minutes after being prepared before being brought to our table. The bread was brought out hot and fresh but not so for the other dishes. They were not overly busy so I'm not sure what the issue was but it kind of left us wondering how much better it would have been.

Las Olas staple for hearty bites and handcrafted sips. This is my go to restaurant for lunch and the service is excellent. Chef Zobel has created a well thought out menu.

Came for brunch. Staff was great, we had a terrace table but it started raining and they moved us easily and quickly. Breakfast was great, their bottomless mimosas and Bellinis were yummy. I normally go for drinks in the evening, this was my first time having brunch and I really enjoyed myself

I ended up here randomly due to a 12 hour flight layover, so I decided to taxi to downtown Ft. Lauderdale and Google a restaurant.

I had the gluten free Pad Thai and it was delicious! I don't like spicy food, but this dish had a little kick that wasn't too much spice for me. It was just right.

My waitress was very nice, and the host was super welcoming. The decor/environment was really cool. Felt like a chic tavern, that doesn't require fancy attire. I would definitely return.
