Casa Sensei

Great atmosphere, just make sure you sit outside for the river view. Pricing on par with other other restaurants in the neighborhood. The food was great as well, try the Mole and Sesame Chicken dishes.

The complimentary cotton candy at the end of the meal was a nice touch!

Food was great I had the Russian sushi roll. It was amazing the service was ok not the best not the worst. When I got there I was told to wait at the bar. Then another waitress went up to me letting me know that I'm going to have to move for some white guy that wanted to sit. I stayed and he waited till my reservation was ready. Other that that I had a pretty good time.

You cannot beat the location for this restaurant in Las Olas. It is situated on a canal and they have outside dining. Hard to beat on that factor alone. Sensei focuses on fusion which appears to be a combination of flavors perhaps Latin and Asian. I ordered the lettuce wraps which included Bibb lettuce. The chicken was well flavored and the mushrooms really gave the dish an extra polish. The portions were very generous. Service was friendly and efficient. This restaurant seems to have a lot going for it and a reason to visit if you find yourself on Las Olas Blvd.

If you come to Casa Sensei you need to know that they do not offer valet parking but also you have a huge five storage building around the corner and right next to Casa Sensei where you can park and don’t forget to pay for the time you will be using the parking lot. Just download the app that allows you to pay for the time you will be parked. Casa Sensei it’s a gorgeous well designed restaurant and offers outdoor seating with a beautiful view. You can do reservations and if you request to be seated outside please be aware that you may not be able to because outdoor seating is based on the availability but Casa Sensei will do their best to ensure your request are accommodated. Food is delicious and they offer a fusion of pan Asian and Latin American flavors that will bring you to a delicious new and wow experience here at Casa Sensei. Their prices are very fair, they won’t break your wallet and the portions are not big but their food it’s very filling. The shapes and sizes of their plates where they bring your food on are not very big and that’s why I assume they give you your proteins already cut in bite sizes. For dessert you can request something from the menu or just ask for their complementary cotton candy dessert. Their staff members are very friendly and knowledgeable about their menu and they always make sure you are getting the best experience ever! Their bathrooms are very clean and well organized and for me this is a big deal because if they keep bathrooms clean then their kitchen is also clean and that also shows me that they care much about their customers. What a case of serendipity. My wife and I had seen what looked like a promising restaurant on Las Olas while driving one night. We returned the next day for a late lunch, and it just got better and better. Choose the outside seating; it's sublime. Sitting next to the canal with the " gondolas" moored and transiting gave the restaurant a special feel. The food was quite good too, a blend of Asian and Latin that did not disappoint. When next in Ft. Lauderdale, we'll make sure we return.
