The food here is decent, and the service was mostly great. Here are the pros and cons:
Pros:
They were nice enough to save a serving of short ribs for my mom.
The meatballs and pasta - gnocchi and fettucini - are great and taste fresh.
The server was nice.
Cons:
Bread was dry and hard, and they don't actually have garlic bread.
The chairs are so hard.
While the meatballs are good, the serving is very small.
This place doesn't have pizza or anything - so it's not the right place to go for that.
Romaine lettuce is usually dark green when it's quality lettuce - but the lettuce here is very light.
The ricotta cheesecake is just ok - it's nothing to write home about.
Truly an incredible dinner and experience. Our server Monica was extremely friendly, kind, and welcoming. She took the time to tell us a little bit about the restaurant, and different things to see and do. She offered to make something that wasn’t on the menu. She was an incredible server. The food is amazing, from the appetizers, entrees and dessert we enjoyed it all. Most importantly we were celebrating my Boyfriends birthday and she made everything so easy. Fresh warm bread, pastas and desserts are made in house. Also appreciate the simple menu and ingredients in the food. My seafood pasta dish was so fresh !This is a place that I will continue to go to every time I’m in Florida!! It’s also beautiful inside! Must try when in Fort Lauderdale !
You won’t regret it.
The son of the owner is the sweetest soul, the food is to die for. Best calamari i’ve ever had the pleasure of putting in my mouth.
the environment was friendly and light, the drinks were amazing. the food isn’t overpriced either. I had the BEST time here and I cant wait to come back.
3rd time here, 3rd time awesome! Went here last night for a friend's bday dinner. As usual the food and service were fantastic. So far I have tried the swordfish, very tasty and I am not a big swordfish fan but the way it was prepared intrigued me and it did not disappoint. Next time did a "surf and turf", split the swordfish and lasagna with a buddy, probably the best tasting lasagna I've had in a long time, and I grew up going to the North End of Boston. This last time had the Scillian style pasta with eggplant, caramelized onions olives, and ricotta- fantastic. This is Italian food at it's best.
Excellent food. Friendly service. Homemade pastas, breads, sauces and desserts. Atmosphere is casual. Limited outdoor seating.
