DUNE - The Restaurant at Auberge Beach Residence & Spa

I’ve been here twice. Love the ambiance. I only had a bad encounter the first time with the hostess who was not very welcoming. The waiters made up for it. They were very professional and pleasant. The place is beautiful and most importantly, the food is good.

We had an intimate wedding party here in April. It was so perfect! We were married on the beach and then had a private party in the room off the patio. The food was wonderful, the service excellent. It was a Saturday evening and the live music was just right for the setting. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, Tony was our “host” and he was excellent. I called him a host because he was more than our server he coordinated everything beautifully. We have truly lovely memories of our special date and Dune helped to create them! Highly recommend for a smaller wedding!

I went to Dune last night for the first time to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Upon entry, we discovered a beautiful, elegant and spacious restaurant. We had a lovely table indoors with direct view of the ocean. The food was exceptional — beautifully presented and delicious. My only criticism is that the service should be brought up a notch or two if it is to achieve the level of excellence that I believe this restaurant aspires to. Small details are important. For example, when dining on our entree, plates should not be removed until all diners have completed their meal. After we had finished and were in the process of paying the bill, I noticed several meat bones on the floor near our table. I alerted the server and she said she’d take care of that, but her reaction came off as somewhat casual and unapologetic. The servers grey tops looked sloppy and didn’t seem to fit the restaurant. Despite these minor complaints, we did enjoy a lovely meal in a beautiful setting. Be reassured, we will be back.

Great service and the food was really good.
Our server Sybille was very attentive and friendly. Top notch! She made us feel at home and always check in on us. The entire staff was very friendly and ensure we had our drinks filled and made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant is lovely and beautiful. Very nice location on the beach.
