GG's of New York | Italian Restaurant & Pizza

First time going. A lot of my coworkers go and apparently they say it's good. I had a personal pie with just cheese. The marina sauce was the bomb! Either I was real hungry or it really was that good. Will go again and try something else on the menu.

The food at this restaurant is amazing. However, I gave it 3 stars because the service left a lot to be desired. I went there as a meeting spot for myself and one of my best friends from high school.

I arrived there first and upon my arrival I was not greeted but rather stared at as if I was in the wrong place. After about 10 awkward minutes the hostess finally came over to ask me if I needed assistance. I then proceeded to tell her I was waiting for another party to show up she then seated me in an unoccupied section of the restaurant where I felt secluded. I sat for another 10 awkward minutes before the saving person for the restaurant came in the form of the waitress. I wish I could remember her name because she saved the experience of eating at GG's for me. She was very courteous from the time she showed my friend until we were out of the door to leave.

Like I also mentioned the food was dynamic but I'm not sure if it is worth the initial disrespect one encounters upon visiting. You have to decide.

What a great dining experience. First off, thank you Brandy, for the excellent service. She welcomed our small group of 7 with a smile and phenomenal service. Made sure we had everything we needed, and just made the whole experience memorable.
Second, the pizza... Wow. Great big delicious slices. Everyone at our table was super impressed with the food. Try the garlic knots, as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed dinner here with my friend tonight. The service was on point and staff were pleasant with all smiles. Food came out in a timely manner and was fairly priced. Everything tasted great! I look forward to the next time I dine here, and would highly recommend trying out this wonderful spot for authentic and fresh Italian food ????

I went here and i have to say that I the pizza, was really good, pasta was good as well, but definitely my favorite was the pizza, staff, was helpful and respectful. If you are looking fir a familiar environment, this restaurant is great, you can order and take it home as well. Clean and is super easy to find because it is right in 441 or 7 st ????
