A hidden gem in Fort Lauderdale. Great Italian food, good service and a nice patio view. We had an excellent meal and a very nice time here. Prices are a reasonable if not a bit more than other restaurants, but portions were large and quality was very high. I will definitely eat here again.
Excellent service and food. Rice balls = phenomenal. Flavorful and all around a great appetizer. Not many Italian places here seem to have that and it’s refreshing to have something new outside of calamari, mozzarella sticks, or bruschetta.
I had the pistachio crusted halibut and while I thought it was okay and a bit dry (for me) my boyfriend and I both enjoyed it. He more so than I.
We also had the Italian margarita with amaretto and for me it was great because I like fruity things and so it put a nice twist on a classic. Tom was our server and he was great. Had a good balance of checking on us while giving us personal space. Would go again for sure.
Great authentic food, service was great. Beautiful scenery as you sit on the waterfront watching patrons float by.. Make sure to make your reservations ahead of time and valet is 5 dollars (your best bet because parking is very minimal in the area)
Otherwise a great date spot hidden gem
Food was excellent and service was just ok. I expected better for the price you pay. I went to this place based on reviews of the “great” outdoor seating but it was far from it. I was setting next to a barge that made into a home with college student going in and out of it the entire time we were eating. If I was to rate the place on food alone I would give it 5 stars but for the price you pay I expect the full experience to be great not just the food.
Don’t let the front of the restaurant fool you. Once you go around back to be seated it is cozy, romantic and on the water. There was 5 of us, we ordered 3 appetizers and 5 meals. Everything we ate was wonderful. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was my friend is gluten free which our server knew and his dish came with noodles on it and it was lightly breaded. Our server said he didn’t realize which we don’t understand because when we ordered the appetizers we were very specific and talked about it. He did get him another meal but we all had to wait. This is something all servers should be trained on and the manager should have visited our table. Had my friend ate that dish there would have been big problems.
