Shuck N Dive

Our Waitress was great. The Greeter was all smiles and Gracious. FOOD, esp. the SHRIMP AND MAC, is ALWAYS ON POINT!!! I took away 1 star, due to the same guy was there that serves food, served us again and he just slings the food on your table like he is just mad all the time(older tall guy). I didn't say anything, since this was my 4th time there and I just decided to ignore him, but a new set of co-workers were with us this time and asked "what's his dang problem!?!" So its NOT just me being sensitive. Ah, VINDICATION! 😁😁😁

Have yet to be disappointed with my food. If you're into Cajun food, you absolutely must try this joint. Has that NOLA vibe if you're looking for it. Very attractive menu with all the faves. All of their sides are delicious. The best collard greens I've ever had. Mac-n-Cheese on point. Go to shuck n dive. Will not disappoint!

This place has a great menu so i decided to give them a try. I wanted to taste the gumbo and red beans and rice so i got a cup of each. The gumbo was good. Red beans and rice not so much. I also order the fried pickles. They were really good, thin but good. However the ones at the bottom of the container were very greasy. I ordered some fried shrimp that were not what i was expecting. They looked and tasted just like the box of frozen breaded shrimp you get from your local grocery store. But I would definitely go back if I'm ever in town again because the atmosphere was really cool.

Great local gem around for 22 years. Low key inside and outside dining. Delicious food just like NOLA. There is no other Cajun around and we lucked out with the real deal. Great service and friendly people.
