Great restaurant. Staff is very courteous and professional. Food is amazing. I'm not a fish person but I've heard amazing things about the fish and chips and had to try. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a good atmosphere with good food.
Exceptional food, super friendly employees, constantly awesome ambience. They charge fair prices and the food quality is excellent. 5 stars.
I sent my friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The meals are flavorable and the team is very friendly and cooperative. Whenever we visit this place we pass a pleasant evening. warmly recommended.
Our family happened to find this place after attending the JoChoy comedy show at the Hard Rock 10 mins away. We were looking for something to eat after the show and we were so happy we came. The food and the atmosphere were enjoyable. The portions of the food were more than we expected. We did arrive close to the time the kitchen was closing and they still took us. Thank you since we were starving. We will be back to enjoy the atmosphere and food again!
The Field was highly recommended, so I biked here. 10 miles each way, but then I could enjoy the Guinness. When I arrived, the place is a bit dark but good vibe inside. I ate outside to keep an eye on the bike. The waitress and waiters were pleasant. The first Guinness arrived and was smooth, creamy and not bitter at all, exactly what I wanted. All good.
Then the fish and chips arrived. I am from England, Gods own county indeed, so perhaps my expectations of fish and chips are unreasonable. However, I have eaten the same in New York, California, and other states. This was the worst so far. The batter was grey-brown, flat, thin and chewy. It should be golden, airy, crispy, and yes a bit greasy. The fish was under cooked and grey. the chips were not chips but some overly elaborate curled nonsense. Not what is required. Oh dear. To be fair the tartare and vinegar were really good. Shame that’s just the sauces.
I’ll probably come back for the excellent Guinness. Not the fish n chips. The waiter told me they are popular. They shouldn’t be, they are way sub standard. Owner- rethink those please.
