Whales Bar & Grill

6/23/2020- We went to Whales Bar & Grill on Galt Ocean Mile
Plenty of spacing large place they have rockers outside but no umbrellas .
Big bar but no seats up to it.
Tuesday they have two 1 1/4 pound lobsters for $29 it comes with a nice rice two slices of garlic bread yummy plus two quarter size fresh corn cob.
Geo had the fish sandwich which was tilapiacame with onion strips but you can change for FF’s
Sevice a bit scratchey for a empty b Business . But sever was very sweet

After being locked in for three months due to the Covid-19 we finally are out. This is the first restaurant we went to after the virus related lock down. They have new menu, same quality food.

So, here is a place where the owners and all employees are in good mode. You are being greeted warmly. They must have asked 15 times in one night if everything was right. The music was great. Even my 12 years old was dancing.

Food? We judge a place by how they make the fried calamari. This place is probably the BEST calamari we ever had. Not raw, not rubbery, not over-done. Just perfect.

It seems like they toke an old bar and turned into a great service, great musing and great food restaurant with a Bar. The couple sitting next to use could't stop telling me how good the food was. They are snowbirds and just arrived for this season. I believe she said they have been to Whales Bar 3 nights out of the six they have been in Florida.

Are we (my wife and I) I going back?
YES. We are. We will try the Karaoke on Friday.

Great atmosphere and outstanding service! The food was awesome. The staff and the new owner were a delight. Ventured from Deerfield Beach and would do it again. All these years and had no idea this gem was hiding within reach. Come out and try for yourself.

Great atmosphere, great service, and great food! Love how they decorated for the holidays. Cozy and relaxing. Brought my 4 year old for or mother-daughter day night and they made her a fancy juice "cocktail". Really appreciated the effort.

Fun karaoke on Fridays with Hal 7-10pm. Casual dining indoors and out. Great selection of beer wine and liquors. Attentive service and friendly atmosphere. Food is surprising for a beach bar...very good snacks and meal options.
