“I stopped by and tried Big Buns today and was very happy! The food and service were both on point. We ordered the kids tenders, kids burgers (kids meals come with fries and drink), collaboration burger ($11.99), bourbon burger and fries chicken sandwich($11.99). I feel for the price the adult burgers should of came with fries. But the prices are fair. After you order you sit down. All the food came out perfectly. Let me say that the chicken sandwich was so moist & flavorful. Burgers came our perfect medium, toasted buns and juicy.”

“This restaurant by the water offers American style food. You have the option of pizza, a couple of sandwiches, salads and burgers. On Sundays (maybe other days as well) they have a breakfast buffet for $35 per person. We went for the a la carte option. Ordered the mini burgers which come with friend onions and they were very good. The cheese pizza was good but a bit too spicy for our taste. The service was good. You can sit indoors or outdoors facing the river.”

“Good mix of people, music is good (classic rock) but loud making it hard to have a conversation. Drinks were good (one cocktail poured light, multiple beers, one red wine) and prices were fair. Very casual. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, but if I were in the area I’d go again. Bartenders were doing shots behind the bar while people waited for drinks. I get it, it’s a chill place, but when customers are lined up it can be a bit of a turnoff.”

“I live in New York and have access to tons of desserts, including banana pudding...but this is by far and away the best I've had - and that is by no means an exaggeration. The consistency is excellent and the flavor is delicious (the OG banana is of course incredible but you absolute must try the other stand outs like my personal favorite - The Key Lime Pie). “Dune never disappoints! The food, the ambiance, the experience and the service is always on point. I’ve dined there for lunch, happy hour and dinner and really appreciate the consistency of my 5 star experience each time. Shawn and his team always goes above and beyond to ensure that my guests and I have an amazing time! Last night we had parents night out, my husband and our friends absolutely loved everything we ate and the drinks were perfect. Eddy had great recommendations for us and we had a ball! Parking is not my favorite part of visiting Dune, but it doesn’t stop me from coming back. My favorites include the spicy margarita, salmon crispy rice, scallops, lamb, and burger. I highly recommend trying Dune, especially during Happy Hour!”

“Incredible authentic Haitian restaurant. As others have said, this is a hole-in-the-wall, and for me, that's often a first good sign of great food. Very homey and simple atmosphere inside - no frills, but can tell the workers are family and very friendly and inviting. They were happy to see me coming in to try their food , and served me a very generous portion of turkey and rice with a huge smile. They returned the smile when I asked for some pikles (I took a very meaningful trip through Haiti last year and long for their cuisine, especially the pikles!!). Very reasonable prices here as well, especially for the large portion sizes. Give this place a try - one of the best Haitian restaurants in south Florida that I have tried. 👌”

“We had plans today to go boating around Fort Lauderdale and stop at the Sand Bar. We thought subs might be the way to go for eating lunch. Stopped by Firehouse Subs and ordered their most popular sub, the Hook and Ladder. Well, it turned out to be very messy eating as the sub did not stay put together very well. Luckily we had some paper towels on board. We are sad to report that the sub only tasted "ok". Nothing to write home about. It was on the bland side and the ingredients didn't mix well. Parking was easy in front of the shop. There is dining in as well as outside. You order up at the counter. I doubt we will be back, sorry to say.”

“My 5 start rating for this place it’s not just for their delicious cakes and amazing pastry selections but also for their attention to detail and quality control. While waiting on my order last week, my food was set on the counter as the girl was preparing my order. When suddenly a customer grabbed a pen from the counter and accidentally dropped it on my croissant. It happened so quickly that I wasn’t even sure if the pen made contact with my food. The girl, however, saw this happen and without hesitation took my croissant and tossed it in the trash. She replaced it with brand new one immediately. I appreciate this place for their high standards and the attention to details even on a busy Saturday morning. I have gotten many birthday cakes from them for years and I will continue to be a loyal customer for many years more. 5 starts!”
