“I have always loved going to this restaurant in Richmond, so I was happy to see it when looking for a place to grab a good meal while vacationing in Fort Lauderdale. This location is brand new and it is huge inside, has wonderful natural lighting, and architectural designs that make it a very appealing place to enjoy a meal. The wine offerings here are tremendous, if that’s your thing. We didn’t have any wine this visit but we have done so in the past, and it was always enjoyable. Our waiter, Richard, was phenomenal. Very friendly and prompt. The spaghetti with meatballs was wonderful, the pasta was cooked just right, the meatballs were delicious, and the red sauce was a bit on the creamy side, but not overwhelmingly creamy. Just a wonderful dish. The barbecue chicken salad was also delightful, with extremely fresh ingredients and the barbecue with ranch sauce was perfect, not too sweet or overpowering. But the biggest surprise was the side of mac-n-cheese with four different cheeses and an enticing crunch on top. The Caesar salad was excellent, too. Just loved the croutons. You really can't go wrong with Cooper's Hawk!”

“This restaurant is a place where you can have a decent meal and not be disappointed. I had the salmon with couscous, this past weekend. It could definitely use more flavor. But the steaks are their best plates hands down. What I love the most, is being able to have our dog with us. We seat outside and enjoy our meal, with our dog comfortably looking at us. If you're going to eat here make sure to have one of their steaks!”

“Upscale restaurant....this was our first visit to this location. Service was excellent.....Jason really paid attention. Two complaints on the food. We ordered the cream spinach side which came out cold, like refrigerator cold. Only the top was hot. We sent it back but didn't accept it when it finally came out again because we had finished our entrees by then. My wife's lobster tail was very good, it was marked as $69 on the menu but when the bill came it is was $75.....not a big difference but I questioned it anyway and the waiter gave me a strange answer, first he said that they didn't have the $69 tails tonight, and then he said it was a misprint on the menu.......total BS as far as I'm concerned.....we didn't make an issue but it was annoying......if there is a variance in price on an item it should say MP on the menu. I had the scallops which were slightly undercooked but passable. They were served with zucchini noodles which were just OK......the hit of the night was the lobster tail....but once you have to send something back (the creamed spinach) it kills the experience. Overall, a little disappointing for what you pay.....”

“We stopped in for a quick bite to eat on our way out of town. I ordered a bento box. It had a nice assortment of basic sushi and some special side items that apparently change daily. The fish was very fresh and tasted delicious. My husband had the wings, and he had nothing to complain about. They were large sized wings, with an appropriate buffalo type sauce. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.”

“Ordered the 18" cheese pizza made to order. The place is very dated but the pizza was very delicious and didn't take long to be served. Also had a garden salad which was fresh as well. “Lovely new establishment with Fresh ice cream all the way from New York! Wonderful flavors from my youth like Rum Raisin with plump flavorful fruit, legitimate pistachio with chunky nuts... Dulce de Leche, Snickers Bar, Cappuccino Chunk. This is the kind of ice cream that melts into cream, not foam like cheap products. They also have Italian ices if you’re lactose intolerant and even sugar free too. Take the extra walk around the construction going on in front-you’ll be glad you did!”

“Great friendly place. Even before we decided to eat there the staff was helping us with activities around town. Had no problem seating our family of 5 on the patio with great ocean view. Vivian was awesome and very helpful. Food was great, especially the chicken parmesan and lobster. Crab cakes were great and my son who doesn't like anything but cheeseburgers ate half of one. “Last week I went to Burlock Coast for the first time. It is located in the beautiful Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale Beach on the main floor. I had reserved an outside table. The view was breathtaking watching the beach just across the street from our table. The hostess, Alexandria, had greeted us and was so pleasant. Our server, Ernst, and the other servers were wonderful. They had delicious food and drinks. Free valet parking if under 2 hours as well. It's definitely a 5 star plus restaurant worth checking out.”
