Screaming Carrots

Wow the portions in this place really give you a bang for your buck, and it was a pick up order. The Thai Soup was dinner for 2 last night, I like the fact the noodles and broth were packed separately. It was my BF's vegan anniversary Saturday, so we decided to celebrate him and support a local resturant Screaming Carrots. The food was bursting with flavor and freshness. Our only issue was the final execution of some of their dishes. Several orders had an unexpected and unpleasant chunk of an ingredient. For example diced lime including the bitter peel/skin, or hard cinnamon bark verses cinnamon powder, or whole star anise. Which made us more vigilant over our food but enjoyable nonetheless. Note we still recommend eating here. BTW the people that work there are welcoming and efficient and you'll always meet interesting people there.

Very well organised and welcoming place. They provide large meals and for affordable rates. I loved the menu very much and the waiters were very attentive and chatty. Highly recommended.

Just ordered for take out and it was so good! If you are vegan or just want something delicious...try them out!

This small but really delicious restaurant has some of the best vegan food in South Florida... a very creative menu that moves toward the healthier, compared to some other vegan restaurants in town that are more processed. 3 favorites are the vegan pad Thai, the textured soy protein and the “huge” bowl of soup ( by huge I mean I get 3 meals out of it)...
very reasonable priced and the staff is very friendly.
It’s not the most beautiful restaurant, but with the great food and prices you can forgive this... my only complaint is the lighting is a bit harsh... reminds me of the cafeteria in high school. Other than that, if you are vegan, .... or not... try this place. It gets crowded
