    Food is amazing. Had the chance to meet the owner and he was the nicest person we've ever met. He explained the dished and gave us great recommendations. I wish I could give 10 stars!

    A DISTINCTIVE DELIGHT,
    Krakatoa is fun, broadening and a highlight of downtown Hollywood’s eclectic dining scene. We put ourselves in the hands of one of the co-owners, who solicited our taste preferences and then made suggestions. That meant the selection was about our enjoyment more than his inventories; I liked that very much. We settled on a broad array of lamb, chicken and beef. Our platter included satay and rice. All went well with draft beer. Prices were moderate and the tables mostly full on a November 2021 Friday evening.

    Very delicious food and friendly staff. This was my first time eating here and I'll definitely come back. The mild option is very spicy so be mindful of your level of spice selection. Overall very delicious and authentic food.

    Such good food!!! Food has great flavor and is always fresh. I have only eaten from the vegan dishes, which there are many to choose from! Been here many times and always have a good experience. All the servers are great and the owner is very passionate about the food :)

    Came here for my birthday dinner. I love trying new foods whether I am here in the US or abroad. First the service by the owner and the wait staff was amazing. They really took great care of us from the moment we walked in till we walked out. They answered all my questions about the food we were ordering.

    I had the Happy Soda as my drink. My family of 3 ordered the Rijsttafel. Tons of food that allowed us to try a lamb, beef and chicken dishes along with salad and rice. We ordered it mild but extra spice can be added for each person with the sauces that they being to your table.

    If you go here for nothing else you have to get the Six Feet Under Avocado desert. I love avocados but I have never had them this way.

    Everyone here made my birthday special and I will definitely be back for more dinners in the future. Go check them out for some unique food.
