This is a great bagel place for breakfast, and we come several times a month.
We saw that this place started offering dinner, so I looked at the menu and saw they had beef ribs. I love beef ribs. so, me and my wife came for dinner we walked in to the place it was fairly empty only one person was at the counter, 2 tables were seated and there was a sign that says wait to be seated nobody acknowledge our presents for about 9 1/2 minutes. Finally, somebody said hello and said pick any seat available we sat down and we ordered. The server was very nice, but I could tell she's overworked as she was the only server there and it seemed like they had just had a rush. I ordered the beef Rib(S) and Thank God she told me there was gravy not mention on the menu and I told her to please put the gravy on the side. My wife ordered the stuff cabbage And I ordered the cucumber salad she brought these toasted bagel chips, but I think we're a little on the soggy side and very hard their bagels are the best. I think they should just lightly toast them and serve them warm. I think it would be much better instead of having to go get tooth work done after dinner. With my order I got the soup of the day it was tomato this was excellent except it was very very hot and had to wait till it cooled down the cucumber salad was very good but to much vinegar. Our stuffed cabbage came to the table it looked very presentable except you can immediately tell that the tomato sauce was extremely watered down normally cabbage has a richer tomato base sauce all the way through but it was good. My beef Rib (1) came very presentable and it taste excellent very hot of course but the meat was overwhelming with lots of fat and there was only one RIB bone most places serve at least 2 beef ribs. The garlic Mashed potato was very good, I had it with sour cream. To sum it up this is a great breakfast place. I believe they should only up for open up for dinner Friday and Saturday they may want to do some promotions to get People to come eat and they need to reevaluate their recipes and Portions maybe create an all-inclusive menu with drink and dessert like the old Jewish delis used to do . I will be back for breakfast but will see for dinner!
Freshly made bagels. The everything bagel was extremely “everything”. Friendly staff. Nice presentation. Delicious food. Lots of healthy options. The potatoes were perfect...and I love me some goood potatoes. My wife enjoyed her poached egg tacos, as well. the coffee wasn’t anything special.
First time here, by recommendation. Excellent menu followed by excellent foods. Matzoh ball soup was as good as Grandma used to think she made!
The pastrami on rye was a pure pleasure too.
We will be back, friends too!
Thanks
Great spot to come in and dine for breakfast. Just watch out, it can get very busy with some serious wait times. They are very flexible with meals, if you need to substitute anything they can make it happen. I once ordered a Reuben on gluten free pancakes since they were out of gluten free bagels (it was tasty). The staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are good, especially for the amount of food you get. You'll leave here satisfied!
