Newt's Crab Trap

So this place is in the back of a shady looking convenient store but the food is amazing!! Venture to the back of the store for fresh caught seafood!
We had Crab and homemade fries and my friend had oysters on the half shell, boiled shrimp, and Crab Cakes. My daughter loved it and said it was the best meal ever! It's just a counter some stools and and a few 2 tops but definitely a diamond in the rough. Buy your drinks from the convenience store, soda, beer, wine, margaritas in a can. Whatever you want to drink. Heck you can always grab a candy bar for dessert. If you are down for a little adventure and some good food give Newt's a try!

They are located in the back of a convenient store . When arriving they had a full capacity of guests. There was a wait for the food so make sure to have patience because the food was amazing! The best blue crabs I’ve ever eating. They were so mouth watering that I will absolutely be back and strongly recommend this place. The chef Malachi takes a great deal of pride in his culinary expertise . It feels like a underground rave party and the food is absolutely divine. They have a diverse menu with quite a few options. It’s definitely a hidden gem on Hollywood beach.

We had an incredible experience at Newt’s. Newt is the owner of the restaurant and catches all the fish served on his own. I ordered the blackened Grouper, and Newt took a Grouper he caught out, filleted it and cooked it. Hefty serving of delicious snapper. Don’t be fooled by the interesting location- this is the best seafood in the area

Amazing crabs. Amazing burger 15.2oz better than Le Tub burger Gumbo was also very good and the crabs cakes were also very good. The service was very nice and were made to feel at home. This is our new favorite little gem to go to.

Very simple place in the back of a convenient store you would never expect to find such a good place in such a unpretentious location. We love the simplicity and home feel.

A true in gem nestled in the back of a convenience store. Make no mistake about it, this is not a second tier seafood restaurant. It is top notch. The owner, Malachi is very passionate about his seafood and catches almost all of it himself. If you have the opportunity, this is a must visit seafood place if you wanna be wowed by some scrumptious crabs or garlic shrimp. They even have fish sandwiches that will just knock your socks off. I will definitely visit again.
