Significant Coronavirus changes were all reasonable. One masked server for the whole place (no need for more, it was that quiet). Menu significantly cut, understandably. They give you paper, one-use menus (which are thrown away after you order) or the choice to use a computer code to get your menu on your phone. Why not just post them at the tables, either on the wall or under glass on the table tops? That's a suggestion, not a complaint. Food and service still great.
Ordered takeout via the telephone, there’s a specific prompt for it too, if missed, and you reach a live person, they will provide the correct prompt and advise calling back. I reached Jenny, she took my order and was super friendly and cute. Asked if I wanted to order the lemonade to “wash down” the biscuits I ordered. I was told that it would take 25 minutes and actually, it was more like 15 minutes. When I arrived, I was directed to pickup at the bar. Three ladies were there and I greeted two and told one I was there for pickup, She identified my bag on the counter. When I went to pay her, she said it was not her. When customers enters an establishment, staff should immediately offer to help and directed to the correct area and staff member that will assist to include their name. When I was told my order was on the counter, it should have been, “and so and so with accept your payment or I see that you paid online, you are good to go, enjoy.” The biscuits were tasty as usually and I wolfed-down three in my car. I’ve eaten here throughout the years without incident. There’s ample parking and location is minutes from Federal Hwy as well as I-95. It’s located in the Oakwood plaza along with about five other eateries and many other shops including its next door neighbor, The Oakwood 18 movie house.
I opted for the chilled lobster and crab roll for lunch today. Both lobster and crab were fresh and prepared to perfection. Our server was accommodating and made sure to remind me any deals they had available. Water refills and biscuit top ups were swift, which is a plus. Visit this Red Lobster and you won't be disappointed.
