Shabo's

We were in the mood for a gyro and compared this with another place nearby that had better ratings but was out of meat so we tried Shabo’s and were very pleased we did. Generous portions, great flavors and nice, clean, fresh environment.

I love Mediterranean cuisine. Found this place online and did not disappoint. Hummus and pita were good. Falafel was just ok and we got a lamb kebab and it just did not work out. There was so much fat and skin on it it was just impossible to it. It was too hard. $16 wasted as we were only able to eat 1 piece each. Rest was bad. Service was good. Attentive and orders were right. I would go again if in the area but would not detour to go there.

I ordered takeout a few times from here, very good quality food but smaller portions, pricing is about right considering the quality. The restaurant itself is quite nice and in a great location. Appears to be large with plenty of seating inside and maybe 10 or so tables outside overlooking Young Circle. I will likely go back, either for takeout or to dine-in when the time comes.

Shabo's was a last minute decision... Probably one of the best spur of the moment choices we have made since moving up here... This cozy little Mediterranean restaurant was clean and smelled nice, Natalia was so informative on their many Vegan menu options... Have to say the ambiance was so comfortable, food was delicious and Natalia was amazing and patient i will be visiting again for sure. The menu is very clear on their Vegan/Vegetarian and gluten free options. I love going to a restaurant and they know what Vegan means lol.

LOVE this restaurant. We were visiting from Toronto, Canada. We're both vegan and one with gluten allergy. There was SO much we could eat. The food was delicious, very fresh and generous portions. I only wish we could have gone back and had another meal here to try more!
I was feeling a bit of a sore throat starting and our server gave me recommendations on what might be good for me- soup and excellent tea. She even brought me something to help my throat. Amazing!
The staff are hard working. There were only 2 ladies working out front and a LOT of tables. They did a great job.
Enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. Would love to return.
