House of Asia Hot Pot

AMAZING food!!! A nice and CLEAN PLACE with a great atmosphere and decor. Good broth, fresh seafood, and good selection of veggies and hot pot goodies .

It made a perfect Friday night dinner for us, we will definitely be back!

First off, the place definitely has a wow factor when you walk in! Beautiful decor and everything was in pristine condition. Service was awesome, the servers were very helpful and pleasant. Great attitude and checked up on us the right amount of times. So why 3 stars? Before I get into the negatives, I’d like to just say that this place has amazing potential. I don’t want to discourage anyone from going here and supporting this small business but I do hope they will take a bit of constructive criticism and continue to improve. I’m thinking maybe I caught them on a bad day?

The tables were too low to fit my legs under (I’m only 5’ 3”!) and unfortunately, the food was just not up to par with what I expected. The broths were very tasty and they did have a very nice variety of options for meats, veggies, and noodles. However, some of desserts were soggy. I could literally taste the “fridge” on some of the toppings from the ice cream (you know when you’ve left something in the fridge and it takes on that stale taste?) There were a few other items that tasted like they were sitting out for too long. Also, some of the items, like the dumplings, weren’t labeled very well. I also wasn’t a big fan of the defrosted raw meat. Typically, the other hot pot restaurants I’ve been to keep the meat partially frozen which reduces the raw meat smell and doesn’t have that slimy meat texture. It would be great if they could do that in the future. Lastly, it would be really nice if they had some bean curd in the sauce bar! I know this is completely just preference, but it’s an amazing ingredient that packs a lot of flavor and I think it would be a great addition to the sauces.

I would still like to try this place again in the future. They’re still new and I’d like to give them another chance and see if there’s been improvements in the food quality.

Very nice restaurant. First time dining at a hot pot. Very much like Melting pot but with broth instead of cheese. Highly recommend the restaurant.

I mostly ate veggies, and some seafood for my hot pot. The restaurant is clean and decorated very nicely. The broths were tasty lots of variety on the buffets. The service was very friendly and accommodating. They were the only hot pot restaurant that would accommodate reservations for 20. They even gave is samples of the broth flavors before we ordered. Glad we ended up here, such a great experience for my first hot pot restaurant.

My first time at this Hot Pot always has me craving more. I love this place and highly recommend it! If you enjoy a variety of ingredients and sauces, the ease of access to both of the prior, and a nice milk tea, this place will not disappoint. The beef and lamb aren't of the highest quality, but are by no means poor quality. I'd like to see more protein options in the future, but the sea good selection is great.
