Joan's Kitchen De V.I. Spot

The food here is always amazing. The conch patties are delicious and I've yet to find another restaurant that offers them this good. The prices are more than fair. If the location was more suitable to dine in, it would get 5 stars. Food wise, one of my favorite spots for Virgin Islands cuisine.

They had a lot of delicious options to chose from and tons of specials, one of which I had. It can be pricey but is definitely worth it. Very professional and respectful staff as well.

Ms. Joan at De V.I Spot has become my new favorite restaurant owner! Not only is her food really good but she is also very caring about what her customers need. I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Joan when I was looking for a place my grandparents could eat at because of their restricted diets when it comes to salt and sugar. Not only did Ms. Joan custom make two plates of fish for them, she also went outside of her regular hours to provide for us. On Saturday I tried the conch in butter sauce with rice and beans, potato stuffing, green banana, and plantain and it was spectacular! After eating it I instantly wished I had bought a second plate before I left! Her conch in butter sauce is so good I had to order ahead to make sure there was still some left when I got there, because once word gets out that the conch is ready it sells out within 3 hrs. De V.I Spot is definitely a place I will visit regularly when I return l Miami.

Good Food, Nice Atmosphere. The owner is so nice! Don't forget to try a johnny cake and patty while you're there!
