Pita Shop

Came here awhile back and was pleasantly surprised. It was during the Daniel's fast with my church for Lent that I came and as you know my choices were very limited. Needless to say, it was Friday and on Friday we were allowed to have fish and for me that meant seafood period.

I got the shrimp skewer platter. Everything on that platter was mouth-tastic. You got to taste a little bit of everything and all of it was good.

It wasn't busy at all which was good. When I'm hungry, I want to eat and not wait too long. The waitress who helped us was nice and attentive. She explained some of the dishes to us that we didn't k ow what it entailed.

I haven't been back since. However that isn't because of the food. I'm just usually not in the area and if I am it's because I'm going to get something. I will make it point to come back and try something else.

Delicious hummus! Great flavors, generous portions and a wide variety of popular middle eastern foods and desserts. The yellow basmati rice has a wonderful, subtle but distinct flavor that i really enjoyed. Really great. Good, thick tzatziki sauce too. The courtyard is a great setting to eat in.

The lamb gyro is delicious, although the chicken can vee cooked for a shorter period of time; a little too charred for my taste. The establishment can use a deep cleaning and modern upgrade. Great selection of soft drinks. Delicious fries.

Popular place with very good middle Eastern food. Order at the counter then sit at a cozy table to wait until your order is ready. Fast service; busy place at lunchtime. I have a big appetite, but the Pita Shop never fails to deliver more food than I can eat. Ambiance is nothing special, but service is fast and food is tasty. It is a great all around stop for lunch.I order the beef shawarma combo. The beef pita comes with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickle, beef and special sauce. The pita was fresh, potato fries were hot and fresh, with drink.The meal was around $10.00. I will definitely come again.
