I went with my wife, two kids and a friend of our family last night and as usual had a great dinner. We had bragged about the restaurant to our friend many times. The food did not disappoint. It was amazing as usual as was the service. The reason I deleted one star is because of the atmosphere last night. They usually have a violinist or a piano player at a nice volume so you can talk to your family and friends and still enjoy the music. Last night they had a piano player who was very good and could’ve played on his own but he had a rhythm machine playing at a very high volume and an accompanying singer. You could hardly hear the person next to you speak. They played UmpaUmpa music as if at a cheesy wedding. It cheapened the experience that we loved. On top of that they added a mandatory 20% tip to a party of three adults and two children usually reserved to parties of eight or more in most restaurants. The food and service there are so good I always tip 20% anyway, it’s the principle. The new changes made the experience too cheesy for my liking. Hopefully this will not be the norm because I don’t want to look for a new “Go To” Italian restaurant.

Parking is plentiful and the inside is small and charming. There is a small bar area and about 20-25 white cloth tables. There was a piano player while we were dining at 6pm on a Wednesday. He is there often! The wine list is large and full of quality, reasonably priced wine. The bread and red sauce they give complimentary was tasty. we had calamari for our starter that was served in a bowl made of what looked to be fried spaghetti! So creative and calamari was fresh and lightly fried.

Went to a celebration of life there after a memorial service so it wasn't a typical dining experience but based on what I experienced I don't think you can go wrong eating here. It was a large group of people and the meal was buffet style but the dishes were excellent. We were served a variety of meats and pastas as well as lasagna and each was delicious. The service was excellent as well with a large staff coming regularly by every table to refill glasses as well removing items as needed. I would definitely like to go here for a regular dinner based on what I experienced.
