I stumbled across this place with a Google search of Bahamian restaurants near me, reviews were great so I called in a order. I ordered 2 boiled fish and grits with 2 added sides of Johnny cake, because it's either with grits or Johnny cake. I understand why it's one or the other, the Johnny cake is a huge slice. I couldn't eat it all but it was ALL I expected and more. It was made to order, so it took 30 mins, but the freshness of it all is so worth it. The seasoning was perfect, I didn't have to add anything to it. This will be my new go to spot for Bahamian food.
Highly recommend i live an hour forty five away and trust me it was worth the drive male you feel like you’re not missing a thing at home.
When i say none can cook Bahamian food like my mom i love i'm not lying but Dwikeys is EVERYTHING!!! Food has so much flavor it's fresh it's good it's vibrant and most of all it's authentic!!! No twist or frills just good Bahamian food i had the sausage and grits for breakfast and my fiancé whose mom is Bahamian and knows good food said it's was awesome he had the corned beef and grits but what i love about this place is that they carry the goombay punch that i'm not able to get unless someone is coming from Bahamas and it's sooooo good ! It's a must try if your in the south florida area the food is Delicious!!!!
Took a year before I made it there because I lived too far but it's worth the trip
The best Bahamian restaurant including customer service in Miami/Broward 🥴♥️
