Chilacos Tacos

I gave this place a try, since it was rating a 4.9.

They do have an appealing menu. Mix of classic stuff and surprisingly a lot of veggie/healthy dishes. My wife only eats fish and loves veggies.

We started off with the 2 most recommended tacos, Mahi, Mahi and the carne asada. I threw in a carnitas because the tacos are small but they do pack in the meat.

Mahi tacos were ok. She said she would recommend them but wasn't wowed . Taco fell apart on the first bite and she was thrown off by the sweet corn. The fish was cooked well but said it was just ok.

Carne asada tacos were solid , like I said they pack it with meat. Wouldn't say top 5 I've ever had but I would get it again.

Carnitas flavors were really good comes with pineapples, which I didn't mind. But I was just wondering why was the meat so cold? That Def threw me off.

Highlights are their sauces all 3 were really good. Carne asada tacos good. Chips and guacamole ok. Service was good, we were the only ones in there.

Downside, food was warm at best. Average flavors and the churros looked nothing like the pictures.

I'd compare to a high-end fast food taco spot. I will try one more time maybe go with a burrito and update. I attached a pic of the churros. First is of what was posted 2nd is of what we got. They did not taste like churros I've had.

Five stars for this authentic tacos place. Just 3 minutes from my house. I love coming here because the food is really delicious, the staff is friendly and the place is very clean !

My first time coming here overall decent experience but the sever didn't take right order. I order traditional tacos my family heard it and they gave me the chef’s special instead, when I mentioned it to the server she offer to replace both since it was their mistake I said just fix one, the one with the pineapples bc I don't do pineapples and didn't want them to take too long.They literally took off the pineapple and added onions right on top. I still found pineapple pieces. To me that does not mean replacing it, thank god I was not allergic. Otherwise the food was overall decent and the best part was probably the street corn.

This place just opened and I've been here 3 times already. The steak and Mahi tacos are outstanding. They have excellent frozen margaritas and every possible flavor of jarritos.

Great new Mexican spot! The chicken, steak tacos and nachos were very good! Very fresh and delicious ingredients. Online ordering was also super easy. Definitely will order again!
