Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine

My favorite Cuban restaurant been eating here since a little girl never disappoints until the last two times food wasn't up to their normal standards orderd the El trio my fav and pork chunks and the pork didn't taste like they prepared it the original way out just threw it in no flavor I was so disappointed then the portion was off beans half way filled and meat very small cut which is NOT NORMAL BECAUSE I ALWAYS FELT LIKE I WAS GETTING QUALITY FOOD FOR THE PRICE.AND I DON'T WANT TO KNOCK ONE MY FAV RESTAURANTS BUT MAYBE THEY HAVE NEW COOKS OR MAYBE ITS TIME FOR NEW I DONT KNOW BUT WHOEVER HAS BEEN COOKING THE FOOD LATELY ISNT WHAT IM USE TO WHEN I COME TO LAS VEGAS FOOD IS COOKED WITH LOVE AND PERFECTION BUT NOT LATELY MAYBE ITS BEEN A HIGH DEMAND WITH ALL THIS STUFF GOING AND MAYBE DONT HAVE THE TIME TO FULLY PREP THE FOOD LOL I DON'T KNOW BUT PLEASE FIX IT GUYS

For our trip to Miami / Ft. Lauderdale my wife and I wanted to try the authentic Cuban cuisine - we found this cozy little restaurant a little late at 10 PM. Nevertheless we were greeted and welcomed by the host and waiter.
We decided to have a Las Vegas Sample platter as appetizer - a mix of potato, chicken, beef, tamale, empanadas and fresh plantain chips. Each item was delicious and full of flavors. All the meat was tender and very fresh. Overwhelmed by the amount of food we were unable to finish it all since we also ordered an entree to share. Our Last Vegas entree had a mix of chunks of chicken, grilled beef and pulled pork with a side of rice and black beans.
Each dish was cooked to perfection - the beef had a little crisp on the outside and very tender on the inside - wow! - the pulled pork was my favorite as it had the right balance of flavor and tenderness.
The homemade sangria is definitely one for the books, refreshing with fresh fruit and not too sweet.

The amount of food was huge and we took home 2 full containers even after we shared the appetizer and entree. We will definitely come back again in the future!

This was my first time trying Cuban food, and I can honestly say that they've set the bar pretty high for any Cuban food I have from now on. The service was excellent and the food...OH MY GOODNESS! The seasoning was perfect and not overbearing at all! I can't even pick my favorite dish because everything was so delicious! Definitely worth the drive!

Pork lechon was fabulous. Nice restaurant and larger than expected. Can take large parties. Service was outstanding. Definitely recommend.
