Padrino's Cuban, Plantation

We were a party of 3 arriving somewhat late on a Friday night and the place was packed. There was no wait to be seated and in fact I requested a different table than we were assigned and w/o hesitation were given the table I requested. Our server despite the crowd was right there to take drink and dinner orders. Less than 10 mins later our food arrived prepared as expected and was some of the best Cuban cuisine I’ve had.
Live music in the form of a guitarist was tastefully not at full volume ( many meals have been ruined by loud in your face performers) and the gentleman was quite talented.
We are greatful to the chef and staff for an extremely pleasant experience and living locally will return again and again.

The food is pretty good, I take it as one of the few Cuban restaurants in the area. La Carreta is still the best one in South Florida though. In having a take out meal recently, there was a small dead roach in the bag when I got home though. Hopefully it didn't get on the food, just disappointing that the restaurant has this problem in the kitchen probably.

Great restaurant and good food. There is enough parking and seating is no problem. Inside it is nice and well decorated. Not noisy as other restaurants. Attention by waiters is very good. Our waitress Lesiney was on top of everything and fast and courteous all the way to the end.
Highly recommend it.

The waiter named Alex gave us excellent service. Was very detailed in today's special. Kept checking on us making sure we was okay. He is very courteous. The food and service has been very excellent. Very good music too.

This is our local spot when we are in the mood for some delicious Cuban food. We have been coming to this spot for years! We like to request Alex to wait on us because he is so attentive and offers the best suggestions on stuff we must try. Definitely check them and Alex out. You won’t be disappointed. Soooooo good!!!!
