    We traveled from Maryland and spent a few days in the Pompano Beach area before continuing our vacation. After a few days in the area we become a little desperate for some soul food. We decided to check out R & K after reading some great reviews about the food and service. We were not disappointed! The atmosphere is definitely warm, cozy, super friendly! The food was off-the-chain...collard greens and black eye were my favorites! Then we sat at chatted with the owner and her family/staff for what seemed like an hour. The entire experience was a very rich exchange! Please check out R & K when you are in the area.

    The lady who served us (I believe she's the owner) was one of the sweetest, most hospitable persons I've ever met. It was my first time there and I was very pleased. We were looking for soul food breakfast and found this little place from a Google search. Food was delicious and the wait staff very friendly. I will be visiting again.
